About Post : The Life Insurance Corporation of India, through its LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation (LIC GJF), has invited online applications for the Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2026, meant for meritorious students from Economically Weaker Sections who are pursuing higher studies in India. The scheme has two categories – General Scholarship (after Class 12th/Diploma) and Special Scholarship (after Class 10th) – and offers financial support ranging from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 50,000 per annum depending on the course. Eligible candidates can apply online at gjss.licindia.in/GJSS on or before 30 September 2026.

General Scholarship (After Class 12th / Diploma)
|

Candidates who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Academic Year 2023-24 / 2024-25 / 2025-26.

Taken admission in Academic Year 2026-27 for the 1st year of Medicine (MBBS / BAMS / BHMS / BDS), Engineering (BE / BTech / BArch), Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course, or Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges/Institutes or ITI courses.

Family annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 4,50,000/-.

Special Scholarship (After Class 10th)

Candidates who have passed Class X (or equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Academic Year 2023-24 / 2024-25 / 2025-26.

Have taken admission in the academic year 2026-27 in the first year of Intermediate / 10+2 pattern / Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/institutions or ITI courses.

Family annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 4,50,000/-.

Gender slots are interchangeable in case of shortage within the category.
