About Post : Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the SSB Constable Tradesman & Driver Recruitment 2026 notification for 827 Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Combatised) & Non-Ministerial Constable posts including Veterinary, Driver, Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Carpenter and Nursing Orderly under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.Candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation with post-wise additional requirements such as Science subject and one year animal-treatment experience for Constable (Veterinary), valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence for Constable (Driver), ITI/trade experience or diploma for various Tradesman posts, and First Aid certificate plus one year experience in a 50-bedded hospital for Constable (Nursing Orderly), within the prescribed age limits ranging from 18–23 years for most Tradesman posts up to 18–27 years for Driver, Veterinary and Nursing Orderly.
