No. 01/2026 Excise Inspector Counselling Postponed :- The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has released the selection and document verification process for the PSSSB Excise and Taxation Inspector Recruitment 2026 (Advt No. 01/2026) has hit a crucial administrative update. The physical counselling and document verification rounds, which were originally scheduled to be held on July 2 and July 3, 2026, at Van Bhawan/Excise Bhawan in Mohali, have been put on hold / postponed following legal proceedings in the Punjab and Haryana High Court regarding the selection database metrics. The High Court has deferred the next hearing to July 30, 2026, meaning the revised fresh counselling schedule will only be issued after official judicial review.
