About Post : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the much-awaited Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2026 for recruitment of Group A officers in India’s premier paramilitary forces. The Commission has invited online applications for 349 vacancies of Assistant Commandants in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The online application portal is activated from 20th February 2026 and will remain open until 12th March 2026 (till 6:00 PM).
